My last update on this was almost 2 months ago, of course there are things to write about Caleb this time round. Better pen it down now!!!
- Caleb is becoming like a parrot, trying to repeat back about 50% of the words we told him. We sure glad that he's more willing to communicate with us, becoming more like 2-way traffic. words like, "on lights"(meaning asking us to switch on the lights), "Shu Shu"(addressing Poon's brother), "Yee Yee"(addressing my sister, or meas yucks!),
- When nanny's home phone rings, Caleb will wait for one of them to pick up the phone, and immediately asked "shuai" (meaning WHO in mandarin), and his 2 hands will do the who action, he was hoping the caller to be me, so that he can have a conversation with me
- After Caleb turned 2, I showed him once how does a underwear look like, and he wanted to put in on, and THAT made history! It marked his determination to be toilet-trained. He doesn't want to wear diaper anymore, even when we went out, we coaxed him to wear disposable diaper, he will choose underwear!!! Of course, he does a few "accidents" here and there, but he sure more willing now compared to a few months back, where Nanny did try out with him, but not so successfully. Even for nights, Caleb doesn't want to wear diaper, Thank God, he somehow managed to control the whole night, and the next morning, he'll sit up, shout for "Pa Pa" (somehow the 1st few times, it was Poon that brought him to pee 1st things in the morning), meaning he wanted Poon to bring him to pee!! One amazing incident, Caleb slept about 7.30pm, and he sat up about 2am in the morning, and requested for me to bring him for a pee, and he continued to sleep after that!! We were so proud of him! I just managed to find the store that sells the cheapest Pet Pet disposable diaper (Sheng Siong), guess I can save even more now.
- We taught Caleb to say Please to ask for something, he did it so well, that even his 1st morning feed, he will say "nan nan, PLEASE" please please.... he will please until I come!!!
- I also realised that Caleb was able to sleep through the night already, since last Dec. He would nurse to sleep(8-9pm), then the next feed would be 5am! It just happened naturally, so I guess Caleb is just taking his own time. I had learnt to let Caleb surprise me nowadays!
- In Kid Loft class, Caleb is more receptive when it's music time. He even has his own style of dancing!!! and when he asked to pause, he would strike a good pose, with his hand showing STOP, then paused!!!
- Caleb likes to do Jigsaw puzzle. It's an achievement, cos' he used to get restless or distraction when he played jigsaw puzzles, but when he received Auntie Carine's jigsaw puzzle, everything changed!!! He could concentrate, trying out all the different angles to make sure the jigsaw piece fits!
- I felt down when I was carrying him once, Caleb was ok, but I wasn't, cos' I had no hands to support the imapct of the fall. Somehow, Caleb sensed that I had fell, and went "Mummy Pain", then he would sayang sayang me, just like what I did it to him, and asked for plasters for both me and him. He LOVES plaster/bandage very much, and requests for it even his wound is already healed.
- Last week, I brought Caleb to family doctor for a review on his condition. When doctor flash out th touch light, he automatically open his mouth WIDE, then doctor took out her sthestoscope, Caleb again automatically lift up his t-shirt for doctor to hear his lungs, somehow he knew that the doctor is done with his front, and he would turn around, lift up his T-shirt so that doctor can continue to hear from his back!! All of us tried not to laugh, Poon quickly took out his camera to take a video, and my doctor friend did the same thing one more time, and Caleb gladly do the whole process again, we were just so amazed. My doctor just can't help it but to share with rest of our friends when we met up for a gathering.
- Caleb newest craze is transportation stuff, cars, buses, most of all TRAINS! So he overnight loves to watch "Thomas and Friends". He would choo choo this, and Choo Choo that... When he wants some music and dance, then he will request for "Barney"

so now more work for us, but it's good that he's willing to move on...

Welcome to Caleb's photos update!!!
has a development growth spurt! No wonder there's this old wife's tale about
after the child got sick, they kind of suddenly experience growth spurt!
Photo is taken between his illness leh, notice his hair still long lah, before his hair-cut. But, I'm glad with his development!!!
BTW, I notice Qile had grown! More meaty!! Esp I saw him in sleeveless T, can see he got more bak bak now!
Almost same way as yours, catagorise them according to the function/type of toys and put them in the Toyoko boxes lor. I'll try to post photos of it, together with my new curtains, that I am so proud of!!!
