Weather is so so so HOT nowaday, wear your sunglass for some cooling effect!

Joshua chose this sunglass himself and vainly put them on whenever we are out in the sun, even didn't want to take them off when we are indoors.

June photos update...

Time just SLIDED down so fast!!!!!

I had been so slacked on my update. Pure LAZY!!!! That's why the title of this post had to be named as June photos update. Month of June just zoomed past so fast. I had been sick for the whole of June. I'm still sick, feeling crappy! How to cure cough plus allgery of nose? There's ongoing renovation just one level above my home, so that also added to a factor that my sickness prolonged for so so long.... I AM SICK OF BEING SICK!

Caleb's school holidays just past in a blink of eye. Talking about his holidays.... When Poon and I went for "Meet the Parents' Session", teachers just handed over the report book, slot into a big folder where they returned all the 1st half works that Caleb had done. We weren't informed of the June Holidays Homework. So 4 weeks past, and we didn't ask Caleb to do any school homework. Caleb mentioned, but we brushed it off, as there was nothing to do... On the 1st day of term 3, I panicked when I saw everyone hand in their homework! Poon and I were more stressed than Caleb, as if it's us that didn't know there was school homework for Caleb during June holidays. In the end, we told teachers the truth that it's us who had overlooked... So Caleb was given extra week to finish his homework. Poon and I were such a "Boh-Chap" parents *shaking my head*

I haven't been updating for AGES! So much things had happened in my life in 2007 till now. So many phases of my life has changed, I don't even had time to pen it down. The most unforgettable and shocking event was my change of job, which was a really blessing. I'm really thankful to God for his provision for me and my family. Happy Children's Day to everyone!
Caleb wears "EN" T-shirt, means blessings.
Joshua wears "LE" T-shirt, means joy.
It's indeed our blessings and joy to have Caleb and Joshua as our boys!

Here's a useful website, Singapore for Kids that I chanced upon today, lots of ideas where to bring children out and have fun. Enjoy!!!

A Day @ Sentosa, Palawan Beach

We had a mini children's day celebration at Palawan beach, Sentosa this afternoon. It was a nice SUNNY WINDY sunday. We bought a day tent from CarrerFour @$12.90 and immediately put to good use to shelter us from the hot sun. The boys enjoyed themselves very much, we should do this more often. Let the photos do the talking before I dozed off from the tiredness....

A Mummies photo once we arrived the beach.

Flowers for Caleb's teachers on Teachers' Day

Caleb's school is having Teachers' Day celebration on Thursday. I'm running out of time, I just recently picked up balloon sculpting as my latest hobby. So I give a try, and did these 3 flowers for Caleb to present to his 3 teachers that taught him this year, his form teacher, teacher assistant and chinese teacher. I remembered that last year I was so busy with Joshua as a newborn that I TOTALLY forgotten it was a Teachers' Day celebration, and didn't prepare any gifts for Caleb to give, and even worst, on Teachers' Day celebration, students were supposed to wear party clothes to school. I put Caleb in school uniform last year! So pai say man!!! I must remember to let hmwear party clothes in a couple of hours' time.

National Day 2007

My LJ post seems to be birthday updates, so how I can forget about "Singapore's Birthday". That's how I explained, when Caleb asked me what National Day is. This year, Caleb enjoyed the National Day Parade show that we watched at home. I think this is his 1st time, appreciating Singapore's Birthday. He even knew how to sing the National Anthem. My guess is when he waited for the 1st show of Kids Central, the National Anthem will be played before the 1st show, so he memorised the anthem. Caleb asked me so many questions about the parade, I'm so glad to explain, ie what's the president?, why everyone is standing so straight?, etc, and at the end of the parade, Caleb told me that he LOVES Singapore.

Caleb and Joshua, National Day 2007
I remembered last year, I was still in my confinement month, so we just hanged around at home. Nanny was kind enough to bring Caleb out to see live fireworks. One year just past like that. Now Joshua is already one year old, able to sit with his kor kor in the stroller... not sure when this stroller is going to give way. ;P

Joshua drinking from straw...

Joshua finally learns to suck water from straw!

Joshua was sucking large amount of water, so he just puke out water that he couldn't finish, so his clothes was wet!

Now that he knows how to suck water, I would start worrying Joshua wants to drink our chilling drinks. He had been showing signs that he likes our cold drinks... sure hope he doesn't like cold drinks after tasting it, just like Caleb's 1st experience with cold drink that he disliked it so much, that till now, Caleb still doesn't drink cold drinks or eat ice-cream.

Caleb's Cook-up day - 20th April

See me in action, I'm made my 1st Egg Mayo Sandwich!
It was Caleb's school Cook-up on last Friday, so Poon and I took half day to see this yearly affair. This time, Caleb's class made Egg Mayo Sandwiches. Caleb was so excited about this cook-up day for the WHOLE week, he even memorized the entire steps to make the sandwiches, I asked his form teacher if she made the children to memorise the steps, she said no. She did comment that Caleb had great memory, able to remember lots of things that she taught in her lessons. More delicious photos ... )

"Eat at Mum's, Baby Best Start"
My favourite photos of Joshua
This is Joshua's one and only kimono wrap that is his own. This is also the ONLY kimono wrap top that he can into now.
I love the wordings, so must quickly take photo of him wearing it.
Check out his static standing hair and 2 dimples that I manage to capture.

"I may be little, but I'm still the BOSS"
Nanny bought him this romper during CNY.

"I'm on top of the world"
Poon's 1st time piggy-back Joshua. Joshua loves it so much!
Joshua look so tiny on Poon's back.
